Sáp Coffee Lab is a dynamic coffee brand based in Vietnam with a vision that extends far beyond a standard cup of coffee. They approached Fancy Creative Agency to build a comprehensive brand identity and digital presence that reflects their refined approach to coffee culture. The goal was to establish a brand that feels both luxurious and intimately connected to the modern lifestyle, ensuring every touchpoint—from physical packaging to online ordering—operates with seamless precision.
The Challenge:
In a highly competitive Vietnamese coffee market, Sáp Coffee Lab needed to stand out not just for the quality of their beans, but for the lifestyle they represent. The challenge was twofold: crafting a visual language that communicates premium luxury while remaining deeply approachable, and developing a digital hub that smoothly integrates with their operational workflows and multi-platform delivery systems (GrabFood, ShopeeFood, Capichi).
Our Approach: “Refined Approachability”
We built the Sáp Coffee Lab identity around the concept of elevated daily rituals. Fancy Creative Agency took a holistic look at the brand, focusing heavily on character development, product storytelling, and streamlined digital architecture to create a cohesive ecosystem.
The Logo & Typography
We designed a refined, modern typographic mark for FCA that communicates authority and precision—mirroring the exact science of their FCA Laboratory and roasting processes. The typography pairs a clean, contemporary sans-serif for readability with subtle, elegant accents that give the brand a premium, established feel.
Brand Identity & Mascot Development
The Evolution of Sáp Bear A cornerstone of the new identity was the reimagining of the brand’s mascot, Sáp Bear. We steered away from overly cartoonish aesthetics, redesigning Sáp Bear to be a sophisticated, lifestyle-oriented icon. The character now embodies the luxurious yet comforting essence of the brand, serving as a relatable ambassador across merchandise, packaging, and social media campaigns.
Visual System & Product Storytelling The visual identity relies on clean, modern typography and a curated color palette that reflects the richness of their coffee selections. A critical part of the branding process involved refining their product narratives to educate and entice the consumer. For instance, we crafted highly specific, evocative copy to highlight premium offerings, prominently featuring the unique, distinct ginseng taste of their signature Arabica Ngọc Linh beans.

Seamless Ecosystem: Recognizing the fast-paced nature of the F&B industry, the website was structured as a centralized hub. It elegantly routes users to their preferred delivery partners (GrabFood, ShopeeFood, Capichi) with zero friction.
Community Connection: We integrated clear pathways to their social channels (Zalo, TikTok, Facebook), ensuring that the lifestyle content surrounding Sáp Bear and their premium coffee lines directly drives community engagement.
